Hello friends thanks for jumping in. Hope you are all fed up with the Pendrive /Flashdrive /External Hard drive when its not working properly. Here are the few solutions which will help you to come out of this problem. Cheer up!!!
Method 1:
Insert your Pendrive/Flashdrive/External Hard drive to the rear USB port. If you find the removable storage media is showing in My computer its well and good, if not come on don't worry follow the next method. Even after Showing the removable disk you are not able to open it, if you try so it will show Not responding in the My computer Title bar.
So in such situation we can find 2 alternative steps to format the Pendrive/Flashdrive/External Hard drive,
Step 1: open command prompt (press start button and type cmd or press widows button + R then type cmd Then command prompt will appear.
Make sure that you know your removable media name, whether it is E, F,G,N etc.if not check how many drive partition are there in my computer if 3 partition like C, D, E then the removable media will be F.
So type format f: (press enter) you can replace F by your removable media name.
Now press enter and wait until your drive will get formatted.
Method 2:
Insert your Pendrive /Flashdrive /External Hard drive at the rear USB port.
Go to control panel -> Administrative tools ->Computer management ->Disk management
(in windows 7 and higher versions you select small icons in view by drop down list at the right top corner of the control panel then follow Administrative tools ->Computer management ->Disk management)
